Got an interesting email a few months ago, I think it was October. It was from a Grand Master is I don't recall which style asking about certifying as a Kyusho Jitsu Black Belt and teacher. He told me several times how he was the number one guy in his country.
Cool! Then I got the point of what he was saying. What are you going to do for me, because I am so important. Yeah, rank with NO work or exams.

When you take our certification course you TEST for your rank. There is a written test and a video practical exam to be done. Without these completed to a minimum score of 80% there is no promotion. It does not matter of you are 100th degree.
You gotta do the work. Now I don't think he was asking me to give him the rank free, but he just wanted the promotion. Never gonna happen!
