Pressure Points of the Head

th2

In real self defense situations the pressure points found on the head and neck become very critical. They are one way to quickly and easily dispose of the problem. But you have to know how to strike them properly, and you MUST spend some time working to make it automatic!

Below is the first in a series of videos that we have produced that go into this in details.

This information will be cover in great details in our new book also! Take a look!

Now Kara, my office is a Kyusho student in the novice program I have running right now in Canada, taught by Riccardo Pappini who is the Canadian director for Kyusho Jitsu World Alliance.

In the picture above is also her son Billy who is a Red Belt in my school in Canada. The picture was taken in route to Brasov from București in a beautiful mountain town called Sinaia.

Oh don't forget to enroll in our mini course! Lots of totally FREE information. You will love it!

Important Pressure Points - Which are Which?

pressurepointsarm1
When it comes to self defense, there are certain pressure points that are more important then others. There are some in fact that really don't work at all!

One very interesting point on the body is PC-6. This is a personal favorite of mine since my root art of Hapkido is a grappling style (locks, throws etc).

Now i do get into a lot of different point in our FREE Kyusho Jitsu Mini Course, these are in the later lessons, but learning to attack or at times even just touch these points can give an amazing result!

Now if you have ever been in a finger lock done by someone who truly understands how to do it, it is excruciating! If you press on PC-6 with the other hand the pain easily TRIPLES! For some people it only requires a touch!

So, now the "nay sayers" will go, well you are pushing on the tendon. NOPE because if you do these elsewhere in the arm, it does not work! Now if you are interested in learning more about specific points and their self defense application, plus doing knockout in SD situations you may wish to checkout my new book!

You can Pre-order it if you wish! Follow the link below to learn more! More Info2

Making Pressure Points Work! Self Defense is a Mind Game

Mind Games of Self Defense
Have you ever watched professional boxing (sorry I don't watch MMA) and seen how at the beginning of the fight they will stare at each other trying to intimidate the other fighter? Self Defense is a mind game, just like sport fighting is. No matter how great the condition or training of a fighter is, if he has self doubt, he or she will lose.

So how does this in any way relate to Kyusho Jitsu?

The meridian called Triple Warmer of Triple Heater. As some of you will know this meridian is involved in the regulation of body temperature in the 3 regions of the body. But that is NOT why we are interested in it. It is one of the most active meridians in the body because it is also tied to the endocrine systems. The endocrine system controls the hormones released in your body, thus is tied to EMOTIONS.

In novice kyusho when I began we were taught that any strike to any meridian would activate Triple Warmer bilaterally on the body. This is true because you cannot be hit and not have an emotional reaction to it!

Actually you are having an emotional reaction right now to reading this, no matter how small that may be! Changing the emotions of an attacker can lead to victory, this can be done both physically and verbally. In sport it is called being taken off your game! Now this takes presence of mind and confidence, but that is why we are training right? Now that is all I am going to say here, because I really want you in my free mini course?

Understanding in details how triple warmer works, and how this makes other parts of the body more vulnerable is what this study is all about! Self Defense is about being in control of the situation, control leads to victory. This is not me talking out of my hat either, this is from experience.

I hope you will join us on your FREE Kyusho jitsu Mini Course. There is nothing you are required to buy. It is just free. Free Kyusho Jitsu Mini Course Subscribe Here!

The Size of a Pressure Point - Kyusho Jitsu Study

3033-v The other day I read a comment from someone who said you cannot use pressure points in a real fight or street defense. His excuse was "they are too small." Good excuse! Failures are so good at excuses! I love it!

EPIC FAIL....

What is the actual size of a pressure point? The actual size is that of approximately the head of a pen, but that size is irrelevant. The area of activation is what matters, and this is what matters is the size of a loonie, or silver dollar in the USA.

There are over 350 points on the body, plus another 350 extraordinary points. Consider the body now cover with 350 plus silver dollars, and you can't hit those?

If you can't hit those, you need to train more or take up knitting!

Now it does require what the old timers called "Hitting correctly." What a concept!!!!! Hahahahahaha. Now we call it correct angle and direct!

What is the correct angle? Hmmmmmmm, I could tell you here, I could also tell you the direction in this post too! And I was going to! But hey, join the FREE Mini Course, you WILL find out there, and a lot more too!

Have a great day!

Kyusho Jitsu Mini Course

b6ef8e2e6d00b00711613d2ebc62d9ec I push this mini course very hard! To be honest with you if you are a reader of Kyusho blogs, websites, or video you are crazy not to be in the course! No matter what your level you will find some information that will help you! Plus it is all free! I just finished 2 parts of the course on Alarm Points, which is advanced material! I know I read as much as I can and as often as I can, it always makes a difference!

Now I don't use this course for heavy selling of products, but I do occasionally make some great offers that are NEVER on the website! You see I view people in the mini course as people who still consider themselves students, and not masters. I still consider myself a student after 32 years! I remember years ago when I was international president of a multi style federation we asked an gentlemen, who shall remain nameless about coming to a seminar we had going in Toronto. Now he was a member, and very well know in his own right.

Several Masters and Grand Master donated their time to come and teach at this session. His response was, I don't go to seminars I give them, and I am too expensive for you! So I thanked him for his response. He was obviously no longer a student of anything, as he seems to consider himself an expert at all. So why was he a member of our federation? We had about 1000 members and he could get more people to see his name! Made me laugh! Anyways, below is another form you can fill out and join this AWESOME course. I hope to see you there soon!

Kyusho Jitsu Black Belt Certification Course

Kyusho jitsu Black Belt
I have been doing Kyusho Jitsu Study Groups at my dojo in Windsor Ontario Canada for the last 11 years I believe it is. Each year I accept 10-12 people to learn the Novice Kyusho Jitsu Program. After that the majority continue on in the advanced and master level groups. It has been a great addition to our school!

Back in 2007 I created a DVD course called the Kyusho Jitsu Home Study Course. I still cannot believe how well that one sold! Several hundred, and I put very little effort into promoting it! But it was only for information purposes, not advancement and certification.

Recently I put together the first of many levels of Black Belt Certification Courses. I had to get my mind around all of what is involved in doing a distance training, and the amount of personal support the student would need. One of the most important aspects is the Skype support given to the student to answer questions and check progress,

My in dojo course for my students is $60 per month for 12 months, Someone from another school or dojo who joins in pays $75 per month. At the end of the 12 month course there is an exam and the fee is $300 per student. This is exactly what I paid in 2002, so by today's standard this is a steal and the students know it! So when you consider the idea I am charging right now $497 for the entire package as distance learn, including the Skype sessions and exam this is a STEAL!

As I am writing this I think I must be crazy! Very shortly the course for 2nd Dan Black Belt will be available and I know it will be a BIG hit like this 1st Dan Course has been! The number of students has been overwhelming so I have added some support staff to help me keep up!

The Kyusho Jitsu World is an exciting place, with so much to learn! If you would like to know more about this awesome course just hit the link below!

New Pressure Point eBook on Street Applications

hands with tablet and digital book
New Kyusho eBook Coming![/caption] I have been working on this one for a while, but this is the first time I am mentioning it. I am in the finishing stages of my 4th Kyusho Jitsu book, but this one is on taking the theories of Kyusho Jitsu, and turning them into street applications! There are many people out there who "say" that pressure points don't work in real life.

Well that is JUST NOT TRUE.

Now I am not going to spend a ton of time of space in explaining this right here, but I am going to send you to our website for more information about the entire topic! This book will be released no later then October 1st 2016. Now as a bonus as I always have done in the past I am going to take pre-orders at a heavily discounted price! Follow this link for more information! More Info2

Kyusho Jitsu World Websites and Alliance

If you have not yet been on our Kyusho Jitsu World website go on by and take a look! It is a commercial site, not a teaching style of site like this one is. The Pressure Points Canada blog is designed to help the martial art student learn more about the art of Kyusho Jitsu. The Kyusho Jitsu World site puts together many different resources all in one place, for the student to be able to find. I know when I first started how frustrated I was with being able to buy good books or video! The site is also host to the KJWA (Kyusho Jitsu World Alliance) as well as the Kyusho Jitsu World News Blog, which keeps you up to date on seminars, products and basically anything Kyusho! So visit the sites and bookmark them! Below is a linked list for you! Don't forget our Mini Course too! it is free!
